What is GoHighlevel/Highlevel?

What are Custom Menu Links?
The GoHighlevel platform has all the tools an agency or business needs to run efficiently and be profitable. However, as an agency owner, there are times when you may want to provide additional functionality to your clients. It could be a partnership with a third-party tool you want to provide as an additional benefit of using your software or something as simple as linking your clients to your Youtube Channel for educational/Help videos on the GoHighlevel platform.
GoHighlevel allows your agency to provide additional menu options to all your clients or even specific ones. You must have agency access to GoHighlevel when creating a custom menu link. Once at the agency account, go to Settings and then to the Custom Menu Links option. Click on the Create New button, and you are presented with several options.
Let’s walk through the options.
You must select an icon for the new menu option. A limited number of icons are available, and uploading a custom icon is impossible.
Provide a name for the new Menu option.
You must provide the URL for the new menu option.
Show link on Agency sidebar
Select if you want the menu option available on the Agency account sidebar. You may only want many links at the agency level and some at the sub-account level.
Show link on Account sidebar
Select if you want the menu option to show on sub-account menus.
Show to all Accounts
This option allows to show the menu on all sub-account or just selected subaccounts.
This area is a bit tricky. You must select how you want the link displayed once the menu item is selected. The default value of opening in an iframe within the platform must be tested before being put into production. I recommend configuring it initially at the agency level to test before rolling it out to sub-accounts. For example, if you wanted to set up a Youtube Channel link, you can not use the iframe option because Youtube will not allow it.
