What is GoHighlevel/Highlevel?
GoHighlevel, or just Highlevel as its users call it, is an all-in-one sales and marketing platform for marketing agencies and small businesses. What is Text to Pay?
If you have been in business within the last five years, you may have heard of this new feature that software systems have developed to help businesses collect money faster. It’s called Text to Pay. This feature sends a text message from the business software to a customer via a sms message. The text message is integrated with the business name and related information regarding the payment. Then it has a link in the message that allows the customer to click on it with their mobile device. The link goes out to a payment processor, which displays a nicely formatted invoice from the business and a description of the charges. The payment processor will take the customer’s credit card information and allow the invoice to be paid. Once paid, the payment processor notifies the business owner of the payment to confirm.

How to use Text to Pay in GoHighlevel?
Within the GoHighlevel platform, the text-to-pay feature is a manual process. There currently is no way to automate this because it requires user input to generate the payment link and details. The text-to-pay component is integrated into the GoHighlevel CRM system. You can only send one text-to-pay request to one contact at a time. There is no bulk processing for requests. You can find this feature hidden in the contact record Conversation area.

Once you click on the button, you get this screen where you can enter a description/details for the charges and the amount. You can select multiple line items to add to the payment if you have more than one.
Once you have entered the line charges, click the green “Copy Link and mark as sent”. This will create the invoice for you to track and generate the message and link to send to the customer.
Customers will see the following invoice on their mobile device to pay when they click the link.
If you look at your GoHighlevel invoices area, you will see the generated invoice.
This allows you to use the GoHighlevel reporting to track the invoice and payment to ensure the customer pays the invoice. You can use the multiple invoice payment notifications to let the customer and your team know when a payment has been made.
GoHighlevel Text to Pay Conclusion
As you can see GoHighlevel has given much consideration to the text-to-pay feature and integrated it well into the core CRM. It provides an easy, convenient way to bill customers through the GoHighlevel platform and still provides reporting capability to the agency within the GoHighlevel system since an invoice gets generated.
GoHighlev el platform has all the tools a business needs to provide high-quality services to its clients with reporting and tracking from its billing system.
