How to Switch Users in GoHighlevel?

Being able to switch user roles in GoHighlevel is a truly valuable support option for marketing agencies. It allows a support person to see what the user calling into support is seeing on the screen to help them diagnose and troubleshoot the issue. This provides the marketing agency a true advantage since they can see what the user is experiencing in real-time. 

An agency user or admin can do this by going to their GoHighlevel profile menu, selecting the Login As function, and then choosing the user in the sub-account they are speaking to.  Before you do this, you must select the correct sub-account first the user has access to if you do not, you will see a spinning wheel indefinitely because the user will not have access to the account you are currently in.

From this, you can interact as the user, then click on the “switch to my account” link and return to your agency account setting. You can also change the user’s settings to correct misconfigurations while logged in.

As an agency owner, you will be responsible for supporting your clients. When users have problems like getting an error, you can have a Zoom call to help them, but it’s often much more valuable to test their account on another computer to see if they are still getting the same error.
