What is a GoHighlevel Image Slider?
The image slider, a carousel or slideshow, is a dynamic and visually engaging element commonly found on websites. It is a versatile tool for displaying multiple images or content in a single, compact space. The primary purpose of an image slider is to capture the user’s attention, convey information, and enhance the overall aesthetics of a webpage.
At its core, an image slider consists of a series of images or slides that transition smoothly from one to another. These slides can contain various content, including images, text, buttons, or a combination of these elements. The sequence of slides typically rotates automatically, creating a visually appealing animation that draws users’ focus to the featured content.
One key functionality of an image slider is its ability to showcase a range of products, services, or information within a limited space. This is particularly valuable for businesses or organizations highlighting multiple offerings without cluttering the webpage. For example, an e-commerce site might use an image slider on its homepage to display featured products, promotions, or new arrivals.
Image sliders are often employed to tell a story or convey a narrative. Each slide can contribute to a larger message, guiding users through a sequence of visuals and information. This storytelling aspect can be especially effective in industries such as tourism, where an image slider can showcase different destinations or travel experiences.
The user experience is a crucial consideration in web design, and image sliders contribute to this by providing an interactive and dynamic element. Users can often control the slider manually, pausing the automatic rotation, navigating to specific slides, or adjusting the speed of transitions. This interactivity allows visitors to engage with the content at their own pace, enhancing their overall experience on the website.
Web developers and designers can customize the appearance and behavior of image sliders to align with the overall design theme of the website. This includes options for slide transition effects, navigation controls, and the layout of accompanying text or buttons. Responsiveness is another key feature, ensuring the image slider adapts seamlessly to different screen sizes, including mobile devices.
What is GoHighlevel/Highlevel?
GoHighlevel, or just Highlevel as its users call it, is an all-in-one sales and marketing platform for marketing agencies and small businesses. The GoHighlevel platform offers every tool needed to run a business successfully at a fixed monthly cost. The GoHighlevel platform allows you to Whitelabel their software so agencies can use this platform and brand it like it was their own. This allows agencies to create a Software as a Service (SaaS) business and an additional monthly recurring revenue stream.
Typically, agencies would perform a job for their client, like building a website or running Facebook ads, only to have the job end or the client cancel their service. Now, agencies have to continue to market to find another client. Now, with Gohighlevel, you can migrate your clients off whatever CRM, email marketing tool, phone system, or funnel software they may be using and run their business entirely off the GoHighlevel platform. The best thing about this is that your clients pay you monthly for these services. You can charge $297, $497, or whatever you want to charge for these services, and your client continues to pay for these each month like a utility, creating a stable recurring monthly revenue.
GoHighlevel sets no limits for its users on any paid plan, so you can have unlimited contacts, websites, funnels, email or text templates, and workflows. There are also no limits for storage, so you can host as many videos, files, documents, or images as you or your clients may have.

How to Configure Image Slider in GoHighlevel
Gohighlevel uses the same builder tool for Websites and Funnels within the platform. This means all elements used in the GoHighlevel platform are available to both the website and funnel builder, including the image slider.
To access the elements from within the builder, you must go to the Sites menu option and choose the website or funnel tab, depending on which you wish to build. I will use a funnel in this article for demonstration.
Create a new funnel by clicking the New Funnel Button. Give the funnel a name, and then click Create.
Once the funnel is created, you must create at least one step within the funnel. Click on the Add New Step button and give it a name.
Give the page a name and set its path location if you wish. By default, it will use / for the first page. Also, if you are migrating a funnel page from the ClickFunnels platform, you can enter the URL here, and the builder will import the entire funnel page.
Once the step is created, you must choose between importing an existing page from another funnel or website or Create from Blank. I will create a blank for this example.
Once the step is created, you must add placeholders on the page to hold the elements. There is a hierarchy to doing so.
Sections
You will need to create a section whose color is green, which is the highest container for the builder.
Rows
You will have to choose a row layout, the color is blue, to go within the section. You can have as many rows in the section as you wish or create a new section with rows in it. When choosing a row, you must also select how many columns you want in the row based on the steps’ design.
I chose a 2 column row for this example. The color purple indicates the columns within each row.
Elements
Finally, once we have the structure in place, you can add the elements to the page, which consists of the items displayed on the page. Here is an example of the elements available to you in the builder.
We will focus on the Image Slider element in the Media group, highlighted above. You can click the orange Element button and select the image slider element.
Once added, you can click on the image slider to see its properties and settings. There are three slides created by default, and to configure them, select a particular slide and then use the Slider Image section below the slides to select the image from the media library.
The CTA, Call to Action, allows you to put a URL for each image to direct people to certain pages based on the slide. You can also adjust the height and width of the image slider to fit the images in the slides better.
You can also go to the advanced tab that allows you to customize the slider border, colors, and animations, allowing you to choose if you want the slides to rotate and, if so, the time between rotations.
Once configured and set up with your slides, you will want to preview the page to ensure it’s operating as expected.
GoHighlevel Image Slider Conclusion
The image slider is a fantastic new addition to the GoHighlevel platform. The great news is that it’s available immediately, even if you have already created a funnel or website page. You have to go back into the builder and add the element.
